Time-honored traditions and values
remain at the Firm’s core

In 1977, a relatively new attorney in Las Vegas who had formerly served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps, wanted to grow his legal practice.  He interviewed a bright, young attorney who at the time worked at the Small Business Administration.  The interview went well, and Thomas Kummer hired Christopher Kaempfer.  Now, more than 30 years later and with even longer legal careers under their belts, Mr. Kummer and Mr. Kaempfer reflect back on their three decades of friendship, the history of the Firm that bears their name, and the core set of values on which the firm was founded and continues to operate.

If I was asked for one word to describe the firm, its attorneys and the staff, I hope 'solid' would be among them.”

Solid Foundations

“Even in an evolving marketplace, we have the same set of values that we did 30 years ago,” said Mr. Kaempfer. “Our firm is based on loyalty, trust, honesty and integrity. If I was asked for one word to describe the firm, its attorneys and the staff, I hope 'solid' would be among them.”

Mr. Kummer agrees and says, “This is a firm that puts its clients first and ourselves second, and it’s a firm that will be there no matter what your needs are, all the time. What makes us special and what makes us strong is our work ethic, our professionalism and our dedication to the profession, our clients and each other.”

Forming what was then called Kummer Kaempfer Bonner & Renshaw in 1994 and working together as partners at its predecessor firm, Mr. Kaempfer and Mr. Kummer continue to work and live by the time-honored traditions and values that are part of the fabric of both their personal and professional lives.
