Reno Office

Reno Office

The Reno office was established in 2004 amid tremendous economic growth in the Northern Nevada region. The office firmly established Kummer Kaempfer as a statewide law firm that serves clients worldwide from its convenient Kietzke Lane location. Just four miles south of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and less than a mile from the I-395/Neil Road interchange, the Reno office is located within a thriving business corridor and provides easy access for local and international clients alike.

Many attorneys in the Reno office are native or long-time Nevadans with deep ties to the community. On average, they have spent more than 35 years as residents of Northern Nevada and are an integral part of the communities where they live and work. While clients not only benefit from the attorneys’ deep knowledge of Northern Nevada issues, they have ready access to a full complement of legal resources through the Firm’s other locations throughout the state.

The Reno-based legal team has vast experience working with local and statewide administrative agencies, and its attorneys offer decades of expertise in civil litigation, water law, utilities and energy law, land use, government affairs, legislative affairs and employment law. The Firm and its attorneys are routinely recognized on a wide range of issues with many Reno-based attorneys receiving recognition and prestigious rankings from Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and Martindale-Hubbell. The Reno office also offers the expertise of retired District Court Judge Michael Griffin, one of the longest serving jurists in Carson City.

The Firm’s Reno-based attorneys serve in various leadership positions including Chairperson of the State Bar of Nevada's Continuing Legal Education Committee; Barristers in the American Inns of Court, Bruce R. Thompson Chapter; Vice Chairman of the Nevada State Bar's Lawyer Referral and Information Service Committee; and President of the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association.

With a strong belief of giving back to the community, the Reno office gives generously through pro bono legal work, and its attorneys are actively involved in several non-profit organizations including Board Member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada and mentor for ASCENT (All Students College Educated in Nevada Today) and EDAWN (Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada).  The firm is a significant supporter of many community events throughout the year.
