  • Successfully defended an exclusive southern Nevada country club and prominent developer against highly publicized allegations of federal civil rights violations, succeeding in obtaining release of an injunction and judgment in favor of the country club on all claims
  • Successfully represented a specialized boutique capital management firm in settling a real estate dispute concerning a multi-million ($62mil +) condominium conversion in Northern Nevada

  • Successfully defeated statement of contest filed by a primary opponent and other parties, contesting the outcome of the primary election for the Second Congressional District of Nevada. Our client's victory in the primary election, was confirmed by the Court allowing him to move forward as the party’s nominee in the general election
  • The Firm obtained an award from a AAA panel of arbitrators in the amount of $10.5 million dollars on behalf of a general contractor and it’s subcontractors against the State of Nevada for breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing and wrongful termination involving the construction of the Southern Nevada Veterans Home. Addison Inc. v. State of Nevada, et al
  • Successfully defended a billboard operator’s relocation of its billboard following expansion of US 95, based on the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970
  • Obtained judgment in favor of a school district on § 1983, IDEA, Rehabilitation Act, and ADA claims after the plaintiff had refused a six figure settlement offer
  • As part of a Litigation Team, successfully persuaded the Clark County District Court to strike down as unconstitutional the criminal enforcement provisions of the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act smoking ban
  • Successfully defended prominent developers through the Nevada Supreme Court against allegations that the city council wrongfully provided the developer zoning entitlements necessary to complete the project
  • Successfully represented several of Las Vegas’ major commercial landlords in enforcement of their leases, including successfully enforcing disputed charges in a major commercial shopping center’s lease and obtaining summary judgment against the tenant
  • Successfully collected more than $1.2 million after domesticating a British judgment against investors in the reinsurance market. Society of Lloyds v. Hudson and Society of Lloyds v. McKellar
  • Successfully represented a Homebuilder Association in challenging an ordinance which created procedures that required supermajority approval by the Clark County Board of County Commissioners of zone changes that did not conform to the adopted master plan. Clark County and various other citizens and citizen groups filed an action in the Clark County District Court seeking a declaration that the ordinance was valid. Homebuilders Association filed a counterclaim. The District Court granted summary judgment in favor of Clark County. On appeal, the Supreme Court of Nevada reversed the District Court and held that the super majority requirement in the ordinance violated Nevada law and was, therefore, invalid
  • The Firm successfully obtained a district court injunction that enjoined a local utility company from expanding a utility easement in such a manner that it would have taken without just compensation portions of a retail center’s parking facilities
